Do I need to bring anything?
We provide all equipment, mats, towels, and waters. Just wear comfortable clothes and you will be all set.
Can I return my package?
Please note that we do not offer refunds or package extensions.
How big are your classes?
Class sizes are very small as we feel that provides better instruction for our clients. Our mat and Spinning® classes have a maximum of 7 people and reformer classes a maximum of 4 people.
What if I’ve never done Pilates/Spin before?
We encourage everyone to try Pilates and Spinning® regardless of experience. We are able to teach all levels of clients in one class setting. However, some clients are more comfortable in a group setting after having a private Pilates session to expose them to the types of exercises and equipment before group class. We DO NOT require a private session before joining a group.
Can I do Pilates if I am pregnant?
Definitely. Pilates is one of the safest and most effective methods of exercise during pregnancy. Pilates can help ease some of the aches and pains associated with pregnancy as well as strengthen the core to aid in recovery after delivery. Once you receive clearance from your physician, you can join any Pilates class as all of our instructors are able to adapt a class to meet your needs. There is no need to join a specifically pre-Natal class.
What if I’m not very flexible?
Pilates can be done regardless of ability or strength. All classes and exercises will be adjusted to meet the needs of all in attendance. If you are not very flexible, you may require a modification but in time will find your muscles and joints become looser and more flexible.
Do men do Pilates?
Men absolutely do Pilates and often find it more challenging than they initially thought. Men can benefit from Pilates by seeing increased flexibility, better performance in athletic activities as well as overall better general wellbeing.
